HUGE Guitar Hero III news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so happy when i read this all! I can't wait for the rest of the news tomorrow. And, I know its on the 360 part of the site but it can't be that much dirrerent from the 360 to the Wii right? YAY!

Multiplats tend to vary A LOT between the wii and 360...take spiderman 3 for example.  Anyhow, don't get overly excited my good friend.  You might be setting yourself up for terrible disappointment.GanonBuRAP

The 360 version of Guitar Hero 2 had a few more songs than the PS2 version...

I agree with you, I was just reminding Duckman that different versions of Guitar Hero 2 came out with a few additional songs. It's not completely out of the question.

Oh my god are you kidding me!?  I saw them live and they didn't sound to great.  The only song I kindof like by them is The Widow.  I hope they aren't in GH.

Were they releasing this on PS2 as well? I'd really like to NOT buy another controller...

yeah, they are, the wii/60/ps3 have the new guitar from the IGN website, (forgot the model name) and the PS2 will have a wireless Gibson Kramer. im in the same boat, idk if im going to buy the wii version, or just stick with the ps2 version, but id like it alot if the Wii version contained at least some songs from the first two games, as of right now its the only system you cannot play some form of guitar hero on. that way i wouldnt feel guilty about finnally trading my ps2 in to get 2 guitars and GH3.

i would love a wireless guitar, but i wonder how it will get its power. go thru batteries like crazy or have a built in rechargable lithium ion maybe? ill prob stick to my wired x-plorer on xbox, its not that bigga deal. just get the game for the songs.

What I look forward to is GHIII and it's immense popularity pushing Nintendo to deal with things like extra storage space for downloadable songs or a system to deal with downloadable online content.

Nintendo is so resistent with Online that at this very moment I just can't picture them finally figuring and offering such features.

I've seen a few songs of the track list a while ago, they weren't that good IMO. And Metallica being on GH... no, that will be another lawsuit.

And definitely not Fade to Black, that will cause all different lawsuits ;).

I'm totally in favour of To live is to Die or/and Orion. Nice, clean, heavy yet very strong melodies. Perfect fit! And some Knopfler and some of the better Hendrix and possibly Frusciante licks.

@ member that posted above me, maybe they are a little overrated (but that's especially what they think of themselves) but do you know the pre-Black Album Metallica? And since when is 'soft' music a bad thing? I really like Travis as well for example, great last album, although they're not GH stuff.

how dare you put Staind, Limp Bizkit in even the same sentence as Metallica.
You don't know anything about the band other than what you've read about them suing their fans over the Napster scandal

 Metallica has 3 of the best metal albums ever recorded in Master of Puppets. Ride the Lightning, and ....And Justice for All.

Thank you ryustruck. And Nickfury101, before you go judging a band, you should listen to them first. It only sounds like you've heard a couple of their songs, and didn't even play them all the way through. So before you bash them again in my forum, you should see for yourself how awesome they could be in Guitar Hero. http://youtube.com/watch?v=qrNxjmacWjw :) And make sure to listen to the whole song because the solo (which is amazing) doesn't come until the song is through 5 minutes 40 seconds. acctully im sorry to say this but there is NO Gutar Hero games comming out for the Wii, but there is a game almost like it but it is not from the creators of Gutar Hero.  Just putting that out :DWiiMan21
