As far as recommendations for good games go, I second every game that's been mentioned so far. If you're into mulitplayer, I'd recommend Smash Bros. That or wait until Tuesday and pick up Mario Kart. Or get both. Hard to go wrong with both.
For single-player games, I'm gonna have to give the nod to Metroid Prime 3 at the moment. Far as I'm concerned, it's one of the best games on the system at the moment. I didn't enjoy the first two in the Prime series, but this one has honestly blown any feelings that I had about the series out of the water.
It's great that you got a Wii, but I have to be a bit of a killjoy and close this thread. The game recommendation thread at the top of the forum is the only place for questions like this.
