Walmart is a 'never' - I have found mine at Toys R Us and then two at 'Gamecrazy' a Gamestop equivalent around where I live (Christmas presents for other families). I have heard Target keeps stock ok around where I live that is. The best advice would be to call a couple of places and ask when their next shipment will come and then be there in the first 15 minutes or so... or try to get lucky. The heat is about to start with Thanksgiving almost over.raahsnavj
Really? You find Wal*Mart to be a never?
When I was in full throttle Wii hunt in November-January of last year I ended up finding mine in a Wal*Mart in Naugatuck, CT. Since then, every time I have seen a Wii it's been in Wal*Marts across the state ... I actually bought my girlfriends brother one from a Wal*Mart when he couldn't find it as well.
My suggestion/advice to you is persistence. Stop in as many stores as possible, as often as you can. That's what I did. When I was looking for my Wii I looked in every EB, Wal*Mart, Target, Best Buy, FYE, Circuit City,Toys R Us, K-Mart,and any other store I could think of ... I had alot of failure at first.
I actually started going into stores, walking into the electronics department, and saying, "Excuse me, I'm looking for someone to tell me that you're all out of Wii's." ... which always elicited a chuckle.
Eventually though, I found one, in Wal*Mart no less ... persistence paid off.
