Walmart is a 'never' - I have found mine at Toys R Us and then two at 'Gamecrazy' a Gamestop equivalent around where I live (Christmas presents for other families). I have heard Target keeps stock ok around where I live that is. The best advice would be to call a couple of places and ask when their next shipment will come and then be there in the first 15 minutes or so... or try to get lucky. The heat is about to start with Thanksgiving almost over.

yeah dude, u just gotta keep looking, like the guy above me said, call stores and ask. Many stores put signs up when they get them in stock, and thus sell out quickly. I got mine at launch, but a friend got one by walking into the right store out of luck... so it can be done! good luck

Really? You find Wal*Mart to be a never?

When I was in full throttle Wii hunt in November-January of last year I ended up finding mine in a Wal*Mart in Naugatuck, CT. Since then, every time I have seen a Wii it's been in Wal*Marts across the state ... I actually bought my girlfriends brother one from a Wal*Mart when he couldn't find it as well.

My suggestion/advice to you is persistence. Stop in as many stores as possible, as often as you can. That's what I did. When I was looking for my Wii I looked in every EB, Wal*Mart, Target, Best Buy, FYE, Circuit City,Toys R Us, K-Mart,and any other store I could think of ... I had alot of failure at first.

I actually started going into stores, walking into the electronics department, and saying, "Excuse me, I'm looking for someone to tell me that you're all out of Wii's." ... which always elicited a chuckle.

Eventually though, I found one, in Wal*Mart no less ... persistence paid off.

- Ken

It really pays to be in a small community... we will occasionally find a few of them at walmart. They don't last very long, but it seems that they have wiis more often than bigger cities. If possible, look at stores around smaller towns
