I'd been having trouble understanding what all the excitement was about with SSBB. I didn't find anything remotely interesting about fighting games - probably due to memories of the boys all hogging the Street Fighter arcade machine. Then my brother came to visit this week and brought along his Gamecube Smash Bros. game. Damn was that fun!
If I found some local people to play it with, I'll definitely be picking up SSBB.Though I don't know I'd care for online since it seems like there'd be less laughing and social type fun. Then again, if it was online and my brother got a Wii, would that mean we could play together from across the country?
Just curious, do others find this is a good type of game to play with their girlfriends? If they're just turned off with it being a fighting game, you might want to have them try it.
WHOA! Why bash?! This is a completely legitimate forum topic.
Congrats to you for (finally) realizing why smash bros. is so great. This is by far one of my favorite games of all time and I'm foaming at the mouth for SSBB.
I, for one, am excited for you. It's a fantastic game that'll last you a long time. I've been playing SSBM since the day it came out so you got some catching up to do.
Congrats on your realization of greatness :P My experience with girls and smash tells me they like it better with items on... it's a fun game for everyone really because it can be simple yet at the same time, has depth.
