I dont find the violence in Madworld particularly offensive

The blood..its just like red paint being thrown all around the screen. It like a black and white comic and somebody spilled red ink all over it. The only really brutal kill is spiking people up the you-know-what and out the top of their heads. I think the controversey is a bit overblown. What do you think?

I think it is as offensive as Tom and Jerry. It is so over the top and ridiculous that it is funny, the main difference of course is that Madworld has blood which is made even more clear due to the black and white backgrounds.

Well, Itchy and Scratchy is a more violent satire of Tom and Jerry so I guess it also applies. The main point Madworld, Itchy and Scratchy, Tom and Jerry, The Coyote and the Road Runner, or any other cartoon that uses Acme products to cause destruction are violent, but in a cartoonish way which for me is not offensive at all.

Violence shouldn't be offensive in general, but apparently society is so far above its most primal instincts.

The thing with this kind of violence is that, it's so fake, that you know it isn't real and isn't made to be anything really serious.

But yes, the violence in the game is being hit with a bit too much criticism, but it happens.

Oh well, just enjoy the game.
