It's cool for Virtual Console games and stuff, but if you have a friend with a wireless setup you could take it to their house to download it.
As far as online gaming, the people that are into that stuff seem to be pretty convinced that it's going to be absolute garbage because it's not called "Xbox Live"... so I think you'll survive without.

o man watever should i keep my wii then since i wont be able to get online probably everredsoox24
All the new systems have online capabilities. You can't just not get any new systems because you won't be able to take advantage of that. The games are fun, and that's what I buy a game system for (can't speak for others, but yeah...). Definitely keep it. And, as I said, you can always get a Wii points card, take the Wii to a friend's house, and then download any games you want. You don't have to be online to play VC games, just to get them.Â
Well they pay the bills each month so its their call. if they said no then there really isnt anything u can do about it and besides u can still have plenty of fun with the Wii with out the net (i do).i dont have the internet on the wii since my parents wont get a high speed internet they think its to expensive should i just deal with it or is internet really goin to be that important for the wii.
