How is Metroid that hard? I mean some parts ARE really hard, but after that it gest easier. I havn't played it yet. Could one of you or anyone tell me the hard points?

OK now I know your talking about the first Metroid. I agree, the game is very hard. Although I have it on Metroid Zero Mission. I'm working on beating Kid Icarus right now which by the way is an extremly hard game! I'm not sure which is harder Kid icarus or Metroid.
yea same....so far in metroid i got the varia suit, high boots(i think thats wat their called),and the wave beam....all i really need 2 do now is find ridley andmother brain.....also i have tobeat kraid andi'll b good
Metroid has always been notorious for having one or two parts that are super cheap and hard as hell. That has been consistent with every game in the series. But I don't think the games, as a whole, could be considered hard.
On a related note, I remember buying the zelda anniversary collection for GC, and the original Zelda (and the second as well) was killer tough. Either games have gotten much much easier or I've grown soft in my old age. I'm betting on the easier thing.

I've tried fighting Kraid once in that game. It seemed nearly impossible. If you find a good way to beat him tell me. Kraid is one hard whatever he is.

yea ur right.....i cant believe i was able to finish these old hard ass games when i was like 8 lol.....but the good thing about old games are they're fun and piss u off making u want to beat a level which gives it much replay value

well i have 2 ways that'll give u a chance even though i didnt beat him.....for one thing get the freeze beam and freeze the boomerang things he throw then light him up with the rockets....or u can do the second way which is turning into a ball and jus stayin close to him and bombin him...but for that one u goin need at least 2 energy shields

That's why most of them got away with being so damn short lol.

true....most old games were hard...but like i read earlier now its just for experiance
