I got the component cables and I don't see any difference :(

I got the cables, changed the wii settings to 480p, but I don't really see anything different on my 50" hdtv :( Only thing is that the text in the internet browser might be a bit easier to read but that could be in my head. RE4 looked exactly the same. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, for xbox 360 I keep my Sharpness set to 1 since going to 0 makes the picture blurry. On the Wii, I also kept it at 1 but it is very jaggy with even the component cables. Setting sharpness to 0 makes the game blurry, but a lot less jaggy. What sharpness setting do you guys have your tv on when playing the Wii.

I just feel stupid for spending 15$ on the cable.dinb

colors should be better, black values better and sharper.

sharper means that Jaggies are more appearent too.

a 50" screen is WAY too big for Wii. play it on a smaller screen if you can. seriously. it looks like **** on a 50 incher

it looks fine to you, because you're less criticall. if you are used to 360 graphics, it looks horrible. as it should, cause the Wii is meant for STANDARD res. tv's. i have a HD projector, and two hd tv's. i play the wii on the smallest HDTV.

don't think your tv is bvetter at displaying the Wii. the Wii is just not menat for those big screens.

looking fine to you doesn't mean it looks good.... . it's still fun, no mistake a bout it. i played wii sports on a 100 inch screen, great.. but not very pretty

I agree. Did you make sure your Wii was set to component cables? Also I played around with the screen settings on my TV until it looked right. And for the record, I have it hooked up to a 42" LCD HDTV and it looks fine to me.
