I hate Galaxy+ most of Nintendos video games

I am sick and tired of all these Mario games like Galaxy.Every-time a Mario plat-former comes out like Galaxy its all the same. Every time its the same old scenario get the golden stars and kill Bowser over and over again its really getting old. I was OK with the N64 version but after so many same games that are all the same its getting old, like Zelda. I know a lot of people are going to be angry at me but we all know its true the games are getting old, like Zelda and Mario. Nintendo needs to really change all these games because the same thing every time Nintendo really needs to learn what worked in the past will not work again and again for the rest ofNintendo's history.

then the two of us must have played different games.

But please tell me a company that doesn't rely on its franchises and just keeps on repeating the same concept. Halo 3,MGS 4, Metroid 3, RE4, EA Sports Games..., Splinter Cell, Ratchet & Clank. They have all been there before and even most original IP's are often just refinements and polish of gameplay you could already get years ago!

And Galaxy is in my opinion the most refined and polished platformer out there right now. The level design is a slap in the face for every "copy and paste" game designer if you ask me, cause almost every challenge in the game has its own concept and little twist in gameplay mechanic it focuses on!

i play mario because it takes me back to when i was a kid all hyped about super mario bros.

and by staying somewhat retro is what is gonna keep nintendo on top simple clean fun everyone likes it

i think you are right to an extent, they are still fun but they could use new gameplay mechanics, zelda could be a way better in many ways, but it is one of those things that if they change it many fans will be pissed, i think nintendo needs to make more nintendo quality games that are on the cutting edge and have more exploritory gamplay, maybe somthing more inovative than mario in space, face it mario galaxy is 64 with funky gravity, i will admit it is a total blast and really fun but there could have been more. but it still deserves the 97% ave. but it could be better still in gameplaycodemasterzxc

Mario Galaxy is so awesome because there is an even LESS explorative element. The simple short linear challenges, every one with a new twist, is what makes it so awesome.

The entire gaming world does the same thing. So does the movie industry, and the music industry. Every game is a re-hash of an earlier game. Look at all the WWII shooters. What do you want from them, to change the formula? It didn't work so well for Super Mario Bros. 2.

Should Mario have guns? It worked so well for Shadow the Hedgehog, so why not Mario, right?

I don't think you should play videogames if you can't respect a good one when it comes out. You know what, give me a good example of how they could change it, without losing the gameplay that works so well, and I'll agree with you.

This is one of those topics where the creator could honestly not be thrilled with the software provided by Nintendo just like we have another topic in here yelling at Ubisoft.

That's true in the case of 3D Mario platformers. Mario 64 set the standard of collecting stars; Sunshine changed it a bit by adding a water pack, making larger environments, and offering more variety of things to do; and Galaxy also changed the original formula while improving on the best added aspects of Sunshine. The waterpack-less platforming levels in Sunshine were awesome, and many parts of Galaxy are similar to those. Galaxy also brought back a sense of 2D platforming, with parts of levels with a fixed side camera view. It's the same formula, yes, but it's different enough to stay interesting.

It's called genre. Genres gradually emerge out of several imaginative creations trying to improve upon each other. Eventually, all of these works begin to borrow certain tangible characteristics from each other. but after looking at the initials posters recent reviews and ratings i couldn't help burst out into a good laugh! Serious? Complaining about a game doing nothing new (which is your humble opinion that i don't agree with in the case of galaxy) and some of your favorite games are number 3s and 4s in their series that have just been refined for that iterations as well.
