After the third time of going through the Temple of the Ocean King, are there other places where the game takes place? I'm somewhat annoyed by how this is my third time going through it

You have to visit it quite a few more times after where you are up to. There are about 10 islands to explore though.

But do those islands take a lot of time, more than the Temple?

Heh, you'll be going through it 2 more times, and boy is it long. And there are other places.

Ah, its part of the game. I don't mind. It gets easier everytime. AND! At one point, you can 'skip' some levels, like you can go from the entrance to, like, level 7. I hopt its not spoiler... Your final boss battle takes place at here.

i thought it was a good mechanic... sort of a theme/location that tied everything together.

it's not uncommon. plenty of games only have one dungeon with multiple floors that you need to progress through. Diablo comes to mind, and that was one hugely popular game. I don't get why people make such a big deal out of it.

for me, i hate the fact that ONCE AGAIN, you have to sail around in a damn boat. can i get a LoZ game that isn't 80% water? please?

I LOVED Temple/King! Each time I was stronger and more knowledgeable and could really beat on those guys! (G) My favorite weapon was the bow/arrow. Got pretty good and shooting the guards in the back. Plus if you are going to defeat the big boss and his smaller minions, you really need to practice (I did anyhow).

But like Silentmage hinted, half way through the game you find the "magic door".

Sorry starman but I loved the boat too. I loved the whole game, especially the 3d type graphics.

One thing that really irked me - the pirate maid. She ALWAYS showed up when I was trying to get somewhere.

That was the only part of the game i REALLY hated doing because your going to go through the exact same temple countless times...gets very repetative and boring
