Ok i am thinking of buying a wii(ehh maybe $340 with game and accesories), but im also thinking of buying a 32" flat panel lcd($1000-1400) so i can get my gears on in high def :), but i am 15 and all i have right now is around $500 and a kid my age takes a crap load of time to have the discipline and will to save up that much cash. So my task for you guys is to convince me to buy either one you think is the best idea hehe
You already have the cash for the Wii and like you said it will take you awhile to save more cash. The Wii is the logical choice. Live long and prosper!!
Well is there any games you want for the Wii? Alright put it this way do you think you will be playing the Wii a lot in the long run or no? In my opinion right now the only MUST have game is Zelda TLP and thats about it. Like I said before if you have like a 360 or Digital Cable or Satelite that does HD the diffrence is amazing and you will never want to go back to regular definition again.
You're only bet is getting a job once you turn 16. Great way to get anything you want for working at an electronics store or something. It's impossible to get a decent HG TV in the situation you're in.

i might just do that...i dont think i need a expensive tv just yet plus a wii and its and the 360s line up this year is plenty to tide me over im sure till i can get a job in the summer...thanks for the help guys i think im gonna get Mii a Wii hahah yup yup

u have 500...spend 400 on a wii with LoZ, Trauma Center, Wii sports and umm some accesories. youll have $100...and start saving. since you're gonna be having fun playing those games ur not gonna think on spending the money youre saving. and by the time u finish LoZ (its a LONG game) ur gonna have a good amount of money saved.

Get the Wii first. I just got one and it is awesome. Plus, by the time you save up the money again, HDTV's will be cheaper, and you can save more money in the long run.
$1000-$1500 for a 32" LCD? thats either the best on the market or a rip off, i got my 37" Sharp for $900..... Wait on the tv, they will go down dramatically in a while, atleast the smaller ones anyways.
To answer your question Wii's are extremely hard to find. Like 5 seconds after they get their delivery, they're out. It's truly sad, so to get one you either have to be extremely lucky or you have to have a perfectly cordinated plan.

Due simple solution to your petty problem. GET DISCIPLINED. Save money do jobs around your neighborhood or complex. Use lunch money to save up. WHen I was fifteen I had a job. You can do the same. But you should get the Wii first cause then you ccan play Wii and 360.
Gwt a wii but good luck finding one. I preordered mine at gamecrazy and got it in a month. but get a wii and when u turn 16 get a job and save up for your T.V.
