i heard a rumor....

i dont know, maybe you already know this, but, i heard that there will be new DS game cards, i dont know how this is going to happen, if you know something help me out a little bit, please

New game cards? As in new formats in shape and size?
The only way that can happen is if Nintendo makes a completely new Handheld. Which is bound to happen sometime in the future.

If anything, it'll just be a bigger card size.

we all know nintendo is coming out with a new handheld system sometime in the future, but when is still unknown. If Nintendo releases a new system now it would interfere with their amazing DS sales. So until the DS sales start going down i doubt nintendo will release a new handheld.

now a new MODEL of the ds isn't that farfetched. Nintendo has a thing for releasing countless new models of the same handheld system. If they do make a new model it will probably just be smaller/slimmer.

Its probably the cartridges with bigger storage capacity as mentioned above. A.S.H. would be the first game ever to use a 2megabit cartridge, which converts to around 256MegaBytes, which is twice as large as the former largest.

If supposing they change its shape how then will people with the current DS's be able to use it? What, are they going to require us to buy the "New DS" model so we can play? Although that would be a great marketing ploy it would be inappropriate.

imo... no. I got mine like a month ago. I do not think that they would release a new DS atm. If they do it would be 2009 (as early) so if you want to wait until then.... if not get one (of course this is just my opinion)

i dunno,i think it be cool.also be cool if they had like game expansions,liek u but in a gba game and it gives u more to do on a ds game.like for animal crossing for example,ad more items and things to do,i dunno.i think it be a cool idea

I swear im beginning to feel like a broken record on the forums. Read some info from Nintendo please. They have stated I dont know how many times that they will not release a new handheld until the sales of the DS start to drop drastically. At the moment it doesnt look like that will be any time soon because it is doing better than ever. There has been no official word from Nintendo that a new system is in the works, done, ect, ect, ect. pikastar
