Doing that is easy... first get a foreign fruit... either by visiting someone elses town or by mailing fruit to people in your town (eventually someone will mail you a dfferent fruit back).... after that just start building up an orchard. Plant the fruit and make more fruit... use that fruit to make more tree.... and so on. I did this till I have about a hundred trees of foreign fruit. Then on every thrid day gather up all the fruit and sell it to Tom Nook. This takes a while to get started but once you have those trees going you can get hundreds and hundreds of thousands of bells every week.

You could go here and wait for people to post their good turnip prices (can be up to 630 bells per turnip and usually around 500+) then hope you get to go to their town multiple times. :) Some people avoid this kind of thing though since it's kind of a broken system. That didn't stop me from doing it though. :P
