I just got Z&W! Anyone else get it?

i just got this game right now, i just played the first level. All i can say is WOW. The controls actually work. Not just work, they work brilliantly.

What you think you would do translates right into the Wiimote, its awesome. So far this is looking like its going to be my favourite wii game so far. Anyone else got it today?

I picked up the last copy at my local Gamestop... they only got 3 copies and 2 were preorders... made the clerk mad since he was going to take at home. :P

So far, the reviews are pretty spot on... the story is alright, but nothing special... but the controls are great, the style is amazing, and the puzzles are pretty clever so far.

I agree. im really liking it. It feels sort of like a 'true' wii game. Something that couldnt be done on any other console.

And the game definitly lived up to the hype. The game is brilliant. I only played the first 4 levels and I already lost a few times. LOL You gotta think before you act. The controls are great and immersive and the puzzles are clever.

It's the kind of game that you got to play for yourself to truly see its greatness.

Yeah I agree. True Wii game we got there. I keep telling the Wii needs more games like this. Man my respect to Capcom for creating a game that truly shows the wiimote potential.

Awwwwwww, poor little Travo. It's so sad that he can't get 2 games and he gets one. But I'll tell you what's sadder. I live in Argentina and I never got to play or buy any Wii/Xbox 360/Xbox/Ps3, or any of they're games, since an xbox 360 is like 1000 US$, and the games 100U$S each, and a dollar equals 3 argentinian pesos.

If I don't get a 360 this year I'll be getting SMG, RE:UC, and this.

If I do get a 360 I'll be getting SMG, Orange Box, and Bioshock.

That could be the case early... I tried Wal-Mart before Gamestop... either sold out at Wal-Mart or they didn't get their shipment. There should be plenty available by next week.

Hey, on another note, has anyone tried using the 2nd wiimote yet? My girlfriend and I are playing together, and you can have a 2nd person playing (sort of)...try it if you haven't yet.

did this game just HAVE to come out 5 days before BWii? or just need to come out less than 2 weeks away from FIRE EmBLEM??? i mean, its like nintendo is trying to get me to make a choice. they arent supposed to make me do that. WHAT IF I MAKE I WRONG CHOICE!!???!?!?!? :0Blue_Panda

You know, i was one of those people who never really fed on this hype of Zack and Wiki and never really though it was going to turn out good but judging by the rating GS gave it as well as the players, I can assume that this is a safe bet. I always though it looked like a very childish game, something my 7 yr. old brother would get, but i guess im wrong...MangoLlamas

Very pleased with the game and it's presentation.

If you are a fan of games that require thinking, then this game is for you.

However, this is hard to suggest for young children, but parents should get a kick out of it

Yah I picked it up today and indeed it is worth the hype. I am enjoying it and I know I will want to throw the remote at my TV when I get into the thick of it!!

Has anyone gotten to the lava(?) world yet? World 3? I'm stuck on one of the first puzzles. You start next to the treasure and it's on fire. You immediately have to cross a bridge that falls apart the more you walk on it. And theres a goblet that you need to fill with water on the other side of the bridge.

I have no idea how to complete this puzzle.

nevermind. i figured it out (an hour and a half later)

the only annoying thing is Wiki's voice, he sounds like japanese pikachu!Haziqonfire

Yeah, that's the one part I could live without... Wiki's voice is too cutesy.
