It was kind of obvious that Okami was coming to the Wii. It has the perfect controls. It's gonna be awesome!

Yeah it's a nice announcement. Let's just hope it's not a quick and dirty port. Let's hope it has some great control and some good bonus content.

xD I didn't see it coming, sadly.

But I love the announcement. I've always wanted to play this game since it got IGN GOTY of '06.

:]

It's confirmed it's going to be a direct port.

Okami to me was one of those rare games that just clicked for me: the music, the visuals, the characters, everything. I personally rank it as my favorite game of all time, and I've honestly beat it at least 5 times on the PS2. On the wii though, the experience could be different because of the controls, and this could give me a new perspective on an already great game. Will I buy the Wii version? Heck yah! I just can't wait for this Clover Studio masterpiece to grace the Nintendo console.

Yeah, Bully and Okami were the last 2 games I needed to play on the PS2. Now I can play them on the Wii and put the Playstation to bed!

I have it on the PS2 and if it's done right, it will be even better. Okami is one of those lost gems that everyone should have played but got overlooked. I'm hoping it will sell well, that way, maybe a sequel will find its way onto the Wii.

I didn't think it was

Okami disappointed horribly

That entire "family" of games sold worst on Nintendo's home console

The entire studio failed to live up to the hype in the wallet and had to be dissolved.

I'm very surprised it's coming to the Wii. I'm glad I held off on buying it so I can get it for the Wii.

I don't think there'll be a sequal. Clover Studios sadly shut down.
