I may really get flamed for this...

But I think I may be the only one that is losing hope in the Wii....
I mean sure we have new motion sensing controller.. but how long will it last
It was fun at first but  im getting bored...

But then again there is online play coming soon for the Wii, but im worried it wont execed the DS's online..
But all this may just be me being pissed off because I can afford games on a monthly bases

I understand you. My son would like to have a new game each 2 weeks (at least), but I opt to play the more cheaper GC titles I miss last gen, and some downlads from VC. This is how I hold and it works for me, but not everyone may be content with that options.

Just try to think in something else until you can afford a new game ;-) or rent them ;-)

I don't blame you for how you feel. However, everyone knows it's the dry season, and while the 360 and even the PS2 are getting a few great games here and there, on the whole, everyone's hurting. 

I felt the same way about the Nintendo DS, and it over a year for software to come out that I was interested in. Now the DS is my favorite system, if you judge by playtime alone.

I've been playing GC games I never picked up, like Viewtiful Joe and Paper Mario.  In that sense, it gives my Wii something to do until actual Wii software worth purchasing is produced. 

How many of these topics do we have to endure in a day? Every few minutes there's a new "I don't like my Wii anymore" or "Wii is teh suck!" thread. Are you just trying to get a rise out of people? I'm not looking to flame you here. If you no longer have interest in your Wii, I'm sorry. But give it some time. Developers had no idea that the Wii would be this popular. Only now are they beginning to get behind it.
I find it ironic that you mention the DS, which had a beginning similar to the Wii. It started out fast, then slowed down because developers didn't yet have games for it. Now the games are flowing, and the DS is a worldwide success. You can't blame developers for not wanting to jump on the Wii bandwagon right away. The Gamecube was a disappointment sales-wise, so it wouldn't make much sense investing in Nintendo's next platform without seeing tangible evidence of guaranteed success. Luckily, we're now seeing that tangible evidence. With this many Wii consoles out there, developers cannot afford to ignore it, and I think you'll start to see more games, and more creative games, start to hit the shelves.theragu40

Wii is 5 months old, you expect all the great games to come out at once? The DS was pretty much like this when it first came out.

I understand if you dont have much fun with your Wii right now, but saying it has not much hope in the future ? I can give you a list of about 20 good games coming soon and that's excluding VC and the 45 games that Nintendo just recently .

well its hard to hit a "movin_target" with a fireball, so dont worry about it.

and a console is 1/3 itself and 2/3 the games for it, devs are cashing in on the controls, making s***y ports and not putting in any effort... look at the games, now look at the wii.

You only own 3 Wii games so I guess you would be bored, ignore the reviews and try some different games like excite truck Blur or Godfather or listen to the reviews and try Wario.  If that fails the virtual library is also full of shiney gems or there is the option of GC games. 

There are still a lot of new games to come on the Wii so writing it off is not the thing to do, but if you don't feel that the 3rd party games about are appropriately priced to tide you over (and I agree, but I check bargain sites daily :D) Im afraid early adoption was not for you, like many of the people who complain on this board :?

No, we have a right to complain about Nintendo's lackluster games. Sure, they promise us great games at the end of the year, but we bought this product so we deserve to have what we want. Yes, it's good that they are "perfecting" their games, but we have no guarantee these games will be great. I hope they will be, but do we have a guarantee? No. So this "wait until the end of the year" on the product we bought months ago philosophy is pretty stupid. Don't say we're impatient - we deserve quality software. Nothing released so far, with the exception of Zelda of course, has convinced me the Wii was a good choice.

Dude, are you even talking about Nintendo ? They make awesome first party titles, I thought it was common knowledge among gamers ? :|

there is: zelda, sonic, red steel, marvel ultimate alliance (multiplayer), wii sports (still playing bowling/golf), ssx blur, NFL 07, call of duty 3 (not great but fun for a while). wario ware, the godfather (my favourite game at the moment.. 72hours played till now ) and more.

 i know, some of them had kinda bad ratings, but try them by urself before u decide to think they suck..

P.S. Never listen to reviews. Just now I only had 2 games on my wishlist for the wii, I thoroughly read the reviews rather than reading the point scores, and now I have a good 6-8 (including VC) now.
