Just watch the boss pattern that he does. Try leveling up your character so that you can be stronger to beat. Is the boss you are talking about the flying armor that throws two giant swords at you?

You have to hit the head, from what I remember, not the body. If you still can't do it, just get a couple levels from other enemies first.

All you have to do is hit the head! Try to keep it from connecting with the body, otherwise I believe he does more powerful attacks. Try to use a sword of some sort, because then it is easier to hit. If you have potions, use plenty of those. If I remember correctly, I died a few times on that guy too. Memorize what he does and hit him every chance you've got!

If you still can't beat it, take everybody's advice and level up some more. It'll be well worth it.

This boss is freaking easy when compared to later ones. If this guy gives you this much trouble quit playing games.

Because it was only 38 minutes since you made the topic. There are tons of walkthroughs on the game you could easily looked up and had the answer in less then a minute hence why no one replied for hours because it was stupid to do so.

Dude, anybody can play games. So he's having a hard time? Big stinking deal. He can play as many games as he wants and doesn't need your discouraging post.

Equip the Claymore or Falchion. Simply put, you're too weak to absorb many hits. Avoid them the best you can. Your best chance to damage Dullahan is when he starts twitching. This indicates he is about to jump. Immediately slide underneath him. If you don't, you will take a ton of damage. Anyways, once you have slid underneath, attack him from behind. Jump to dodge the first projectile wave and use your Great Sword (whichever you have) to cut down the second wave. Like I said, this boss fight requires a touch of coordination and skill. It's the first boss which is tradtionally slightly difficult (with the exception of Aria of Sorrow, I curse your name!)

That's a little harsh.... Actually, I think this is one of the most difficult bosses in the game since you are so weak (which goes to show the difficulty level of this game = n00b)

EDIT: The only boss I'm pissed off about is Brauner on Old Axe Armor mode. Gr...he killed me. I don't die in Castlevania!

make your companion stay on one side then put your character on the other side. attack simultaneously. if done correctly the boss will not attack but will only shift from side to side.

yeah, everyone pretty much said what i was going to say. Just make sure you're like at least level 6 (i think). And hit the head like crazy...you might still be able to hit the body in the same strikes and as long as the head stays away, he won't be hitting you with his stronger attacks. Also, magic doesn't hurt. Holy lightning is great.
