Honestly, I barely paid attention to the trends :P Like, Neku's wearing a purse atm because I liked the ability.

I was real undecided about it at first, but thankfully I'm pretty impulsive when buying games. :D

I hate tin pin stuff too, lucky its not really involved with the game too much.

i was unsure weather to get it for ages too (style,etc - all the stuff you lot are saying) but i braved it, bought it, and loved it.

I actually liked Tin Pin slammer. The music was good, and the mini-game itself wasn't bad at all.

The thing which really got me into the game was the characters and story. No, it isn't about fashion and all that. Cloths are like the 'armour' in the game, which can increase def/attack etc. If you played games like Pokemon, you would find that items like protein can increase your stats as a permanent boost. Well, here you eat food instead, which digests after you fight a certain amount of battles, then get the stat increase. The difficulty is just right, and you can change if on the fly. Gees, you can change your character's own level on the fly as well(to get better items from enemies). The amount of items is great. I think in total there's about 486(which is not including the 304 pins )

I first really didn't care for the game. It started out strong, but just got a little weird for me around midway of the second week. I actually was thinking about selling the game, but decided to give it a bit more of a chance before I made my final decision. And all I can say is... man, am I glad I held off on giving it away!

After finishing it the first time through, I came away nearly awe-struck. The story, emotion of the characters, along with the kicking soundtrack and top-notch gameplay, made this an RPG unlike any other I've played in recent memory. I guess good things do come to those who wait. :P

The fashion aspect is very small, but its been mentioned a lot because TWEWY gives an insight into japanese culture. Its actually a really philosophical game that tries to teach people to "expand their world" and let others in instead of pushing people away. Overall very cathartic and it really does a good job of making you take a look at you're life and how you can improve your outlook...

oh, and who's saying Sho's uncool? They're a total hectopascal... :P

im not like most other people in terms of TWEWY,A: i couldent get into it,and B:most people said it got boring but started out good when saying they didnt really like it,im the opposite,kinda,i think it started out boring,i played it for like 2 hours or so and couldent bring myself to play it more i got so bored of it, i really want someone to convince me it picks up and ends up being this masterpeice its supposed to be though cos i want to like it , i feel like im missing out :P so tell me, does it get better? pmurph13

This is the one SE game I did not pick up. Im really interested in playing it, but I have reservations about the story and seting. Do you get to explorre anything other than the same 2d backgound of Shinjuku? And is the story serious at all?TransformersFan
