I really want a game that shows off the Wii power

Sup people,

I am sooo sick of hearing people compare the Wii to the PS2! It's shameful and such comparisons should not be made even as a joke. 

The Gamecube had better graphics then the PS2 (that's a fact not an opinion) and the Wii is meant to be twice as powerful as the Gamecube. knowing this it would be nice when the Wii gets to show off its full potential and we can silence the nuggets 

(yes, i'm refering to you people who think the Ps2 is actually better). i believe when the Wii version of RE4 comes out it will silence these 

people. this annoy anyone else?

I suggest you buy Warioware Smooth Moves if you have friends :P LOL to seriously have a lough and also
an awesome single player game like The Godfather, because it's just great to trow people of buildings and smashing them
against the wall, and when you play these games you really feel the power of the Wiimote

By the looks of things, the most likely game from my perspective would be Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. But the Wii has impressed me enough not to care about the better console and stuff like that.

RE: UC has the best visuals so far, some say it looks like RE: Remake which it does but now in real-time not pre-rendered art. I really hope it isn't on rails but more like Survivior or Dead Aim so I can do a little looking around.tomarlyn

i have a ps3 as also the graphics are good but i full the same about that system as i do the wii

I still haven't seen any pics of Sadness, that black and white game. Any thoughts? I think that it could be quite impressive, graphically.

I don't think people should worry too much about the Wii graphics. I have total faith that they will progressively get better. All console's graphics are a little rough in the beginning. I'm sure by the time Metriod, Smash Brothers and Mario come out the graphics will be way better. Not to mention the component cables help out a bit.

If you want these comparisions to stop, how bout telling people to not support those ports?  Even better, tell developers to stop porting PS2 games in the first place.

Everybody knows the GC was stronger than the PS2, but knowing that, people should be complaining when the games coming out on the Wii look on par and at times worse than PS2 games.

Normally I would agree that graphics start out rough in the beginning, but considering the Wii is literially based on the GC, and Nintendo, and its fans, claiming it should be easy to develop for, there is no excuse for games looking worse than GC and at times PS2 games.
