And I received them with my ds lite hard case. The problem is, they might be knock offs. They do have the word "Nintendo" in gold, and the bottom some Japanese letters, but there the official Nintendo symbol that is in a jagged circle isn't there. How do I tell if the screen protector is authentic (is from Nintendo and is not a knockoff?)?

I think horni DS lite screens are not official, but they have to put the Nintendo logo to make people know that its related to Nintendo.

But i dunno, you should ask yoweeh, because she knows quite a lot about horni products.

I can't seem to message her, it says on my page that there is no valid HTML.

Its Hori, not horni. :P

hydralisk...you should be able to find comparison pictures online. If you buy them from a site like Play-asia then they should be genuine. If you bought them from Ebay or Amazon marketplace...then you are taking a big chance.

Check out this link for picture comparisons.

I see. Yeah, mine are probably knock offs, the cloth is frilly on mine xD. Oh well, at least the product that came with it was cheap.

Too bad dude. But hey, at least you didn`t get a box filled with rocks. And also expect less quality from knock off products. Off-topic: The ds forums are quite dead lately, aren`t it? Even the pokemon post stopped, almost everyone is gone. -_-

Did Nintendo ever release it's own Screen protectors? I still don't get those things. I've had my DS since 2005 and I use it more often than any other console I own. I've yet to scratch the screen at all.

I'm not entirely sure if a Hori Screen Protector is authentic or not, although the only help I could give you is this guide I found in eBay. Not sure if it's accurate, but it's all I could find.:?
