i voted..i love super mario galazy to death, even more than halo 3, i hate how everyone thinks cod 4 is the sh*t, people like it cos its noob-freindly, 2-3 shots and you kill someoen, whereas halo 3 requiores skill, also both halo 3 and smg got rated better than cod4, i want smg to win so bad......

SMG was great as was CoD4..... IMO Halo was just a massive let down....
Some, but not all, people that voted have played only one game there, like me. I voted SMG, even though the only real candidates that I played were SMG and Halo 3. CoD4 Has an amazing chance ar winning because its on both the 360 and the PS3, right? I may be wrong there, but I'm pretty sure that with the combined fanbase, it'll win. Besides, the PS3 doesn't have much to vote for. R&C is the only big exclusive. CoD will probably win despite maybe not being as innovative as SMG or Mass Effect, but you can't argue it. It's just a title, anyways. To hell with GOTY.
your absolutely right, having people vote is unfair, its best to have gamespot and ign decide which is GOTY, cos they are the pros, and they definitly know what theyre doing, thats why they rated super mario galazy the higest......and did so rightfully

I'm actually quite surprised at LoZ PH votes. I didn;t expect it to do well but i expected it to be middle areas. Based on the current stats... i would have guessed LoZ would have been 5%-8%

Haha are you crazy, halo has one the largest fanbases in the gaming industry, COD4 is nowhere near that. Given I have seen and played them all though, my truthful vote woild go to Galaxy. It is one the most innovative and fun games that I have ever played, neither Halo 3 or COD4 can make that claim.
Crysis voting is easing off! SMG's hasn't moved at all though.... and Unreal Tournament is gaining fast.Halo 3 seems to have frozen and COD4 is easing up too
It will stop the editors being told they are wrong and should die for having their own opinion though, also they keep their jobs longer if they don't voice their own opinions.
