i had a black 3ds i got on launch day, with pokemon and sf.The estore had just launched but honestly i was bored out of my mind! Then Vita had shown it would have triple the content and hardware of 3DS for the same price, and i instantly abandoned ship.

Presently though im seeing lots of temptations to come back and give nintendo a second chance. Starfox and ocarina are doing fantastic with the critics, and are certainly not boring games. The red color change is sweet. And the giant price drop makes me getting back on board easier (because its cheaper lol).

So honestly, guys. I am conflicted here, really really not sure what to do. Because of nintendo realizing the lost of consumer trust, i feel that means a 3ds lite is far away from here, but i cant be sure.

HELP ME WITH UR WISDOM, FELLAS!

If you sold it, why would you buy another. Its not like you didn't know these games were coming out? If you couldn't be bothered to wait, why would you expect it to be any different now?

Nothing wrong with coming back, but I'd wait until the games are actually out and some reviews are in, that way you can be absolutely sure you want it this time.

Oughtn't to have sold it in the first place- your faithlessness and impatience will cost you now.

Of all of those titles though we are still not sure if MH3G or MH4 will be coming to the US. And personally looking forward to the Kid Icarus game.

Do you see more than three games currently out that you can't live without? If yes, buy one. If no, wait.

yeah see that is what has me bothered. IGN did point that out in an article and they were right, alot of us were just becoming comfortable with fitting into the 3DS, but then they announced this extra stick and suddenly its hard NOT to forsee Nintendo racing to make an updated version with the stick included. But idk, i also felt like i still have the oppurtunity to get back into 3DS and pretend i never left. I dont know if that oppurtunity will always be there for me. And i know smash bros and paper mario arent here yet but i feel like i HAVE to play them!! But in the end i think it really comes down to this question i wanna raise......is starfox and ocarina alone enough reason to get back into the 3DS? Because that is whats out RIGHT NOW haha

Although they are good games, two $40 N64 titles are not nearly enough justification to repurchase this handheld. I sold mine as well when I got wind of the price drop. I regret it a little bit but I made the right choice. I got $260 for the handheld, DOA: Dimensions, and SS4:3d.

If I rebuy I won't be out anything other than time without the handheld. As of now I would not be playing it anyway. I will now wait for the inevitable redesign that includes the 2nd analog stick, better battery life, and most importantly quality software to choose from via cartridge and VC. I love Nintendo, but they dropped the ball big time. Anybody who says otherwise is in denial.

I mean, did you see the 2nd analog nub add-on? I almost hope that thing is not real. It looks so cheezy.

You should come back, as I will, but not right now. Wait for the redesign and show Nintendo that they need to do it right the first time. They had no reason to rush this out. No reason at all. All they did was make the Vita look more and more exciting.

ALL IMO OF COURSE.

I don't mean to be offensive but you clearly did little research when it came to finding games, and you didn't have the patience to wait more than 2 months after a console launch (why people expect console launch periods to not suck still boggles my mind) and apparently you didn't enjoy the platform for what it did right. So I'd say live with your decision and don't get a 3DS. Infact, don't get anything that you plan to use long term until you can committ to the ups/downs and find if anything in the future will appease you.

If I were you I'd wait for the inevitable revision that includes the second analogue pad and better battery life.

I wasn't annoyed at the price drop as I picked mine up fairly close to what they sell for now. This peripheral however is doing a pretty good job at making me regret being an 'early adopter'. That, along with the lack of decent titles. We all knew not to expect much at launch but it's been almost 6 months and all we've got since is Zelda and Star Fox... Both of which most of us have played before... many times.

From here it looks like Nintendo's beginning to share Sega's fate.
