i think they have a soft spot for zelda, noone can say anything bad about the franchise because it is THE best franchise in videogame history. as for the rest of nintendo, yes, i do think they hate nintendo and r microsoft buffs. all the halo hype made me sick. and what did they do for the wii hype? nothing.
if u want more proof, here are two great examples, one for those who watched e3 2007 saw how much coverage they did with nintendo. yeah, out of about 7 hours, they only dedicated about half an hour to nintendo. to top that all off, they had their hands one with some of the bigger faces of g4, such as Kevin pererra, and adam sesler (probably butchered their names) with microsoft and sony. but who was left to nintendo? blair. the stupid blond whos a comic book critic. a comic book critic covering nintendo's games? yeah an obvious sign of lack of intrest for nintendo. not to mention that all three companies showed a press conference at e3, but microsofts was the only one that was broacasted.
also, at the tokyo game show, did any one catch morgan webb's comments on MP3: "i think retro made metroid prime 3 more for the casual gamers." r u freaking kidding me?
