There seems to have been like 5-6 threads asking whether they should buy the ds lite. I know a lot of people probably know about this, but a lot of people don't know either. For those thinking about upgrading, you should wait and see what E3 has to offer. There might be an upgrade which you might really like.
Despite the fact that the DS is still a selling monster, I'm hoping for a new Nintendo Portable. Nintendo does them right, and they do them the best. We'll have to wait and see
Having just purchased my DSLight a few months ago, I'd be pretty bummed if they released a newer/better model, even moreso if it sold for a pricetag less than what I paid... :(
I still have my PHAT. I'm keeping it until it finally dies. Then I will give it a decent burial and go out and get the lite.
If you going to wait until the newer, better, extreme blah blah model comes out you will be waiting all your life - and waste a lot of time you could be using playing games. ;)
