I would really like Wii Speak compatible with Brawl.. *-* Imagine all the mean words goin' and comin'.. :Dbogonisame
That's cool. I haven't got to try mine yet. I know they can't update retail wii games, but they can update Wiiware games. They've already done it before. I hope they add voice chat to Dr. Mario, Bomberman, and Tetris, at least for friends.Â
They probably won't but I can wish. Also I haven't tried it with a computer, but it doesn't work with the PS3 which accepts all USB microphones for voicechat. I guess Nintendo blocked it out.
i hope wii speak evolves into a headset, not going to be good if my parents come in and hear some kid swearing.SF_KiLLaMaN
- Buy a headphone set.
- Connect it to your TV set.
- ???
- PROFIT!
and i have a question, is wii speak push to talk? cuz i dont want people like walking in my room and everybody in the game hears it.SF_KiLLaMaN
No, but you can enable and disable it in-game.
I had a little delay in when I would start talking and my friend would hear me. Once we got used to it it was okay, but at first we ended up accidentally talking over each other a lot.
I'm not sure if it's Wii Speak's fault, Animal Crossing's fault, or just the distance (I was in Missouri and she in British Columbia), but if you watch the Animal Crossing Marathon here on GameSpot you'll notice in the interview section it delays there too.
Just thought I'd point that out since no one else has addressed it. Besides that though, Wii Speak worked great.
