That's a funny topic title!--- I'd say go to the review part of this site and click on the 'top games' -'of all time' and start from the highest rated and read the reviews to see what may suit you.
I would definately recommend Mario Kart DS as I have played that for at least 175 hours (not straight) also Advance Wars:Dual Strike is good but if your not into a slow game then it;s not for you. A good pick up and play game is Tony Hawks: American Sk8land however this game has been discontinued I believe and has been replaced by Tony Hawks: Downhill Jam which is nothing compare to American Sk8land.
im surprised how no-one ever recommends yoshi's island ds... its a great platformer. You should also check out metroid prime : hunters, mariokart, advance wars, new super mario brothers. FF VI and IV are also GBA games you gotta get if you like this kind of rpg.
