I want a Wii...

I wanted one since November 19th, and still don't have one.. And I've been trying. I called all my local stores. Never have I called and gotten a "Yes, we have the Wii in stock" answer. It's always No. Is it because I'm unlucky?

And damn, some of those workers who pick up the phone are rude. I once cursed at this lady for answering me in a rough manner. Those idiots. I guess picking up a phone and answering a simple question is too much work for those morons.

The only ones I saw that I can buy online were those bundles for 600 dollars..

Besides, I'm still living off my parents. So they're the ones who have to buy it for me. And my old man would never order one online.

I know how you feel. I used look for a Wii 10 times a week and it took me 2 months to actually find one. There's nothing you can do, its just dumb luck.

As for the phone thing, its because they get hundreds of calls like this every day...I would be pissed too :?

geez, the wii shortages seem really bad up there in the US... we have them here in australia too but nowhere near as bad as you guys. to be waiting since november last year, thats bad!hrt_rulz01

Yup, it's really bad. And it's not just me, NONE of my friends and certain family members have it. They've also been looking as long as me.

I was actually considering buying a 360 just out of frustation. But it's too expensive for me. I wonder how many other people went that route though. Just say "screw it" and buy a 360 instead..

No, I dont call...I always go to the store and see for myself. So, one day, I saw this fat lady with a huge EB Games plastic bag and it was kind of transparent, so I saw that it was a Wii. I was like OMFG:shock: and I immediately rushed to the store :P That's how I got mine...

I won't buy a 360 because of that. I'm still searching for a Wii since the beginning but I'm not selling my soul to buy a 360 for 1 game: Blue Dragon.

360 does have some good games. Gears of War, Oblivion, dead rising....but most of all, I never owned an X-Box. So I would be able to go back and buy games I never played, like Ninja Gaiden and Halo...FOR CHEAP.

 360 does it's upside. If it was cheaper, then I assure you I would have bought one and said screw the Wii.

I just called one store, Video game Central. They actually have the Wii. But only as a bundle for like 500 bucks. No way can I get that.

 But  this is the first time I've gotten an answer that isn't the typical "No we don't have them right now".

wow you guys are not very resourceful ... all you have to do is check when all the stores will have inventory... usually on a sunday... then go about 2 hours before they open.   Its not hard its very easy i dont know what your so called "trying to get one" means but it is very simple.

The information about shippments is available on the web.  I have had the best luck at toys r us.  Due to the fact my CC and BB only get a handful and people get there so early.  

I will give you a couple links that will tell you when shippments are coming jeez people this is not rocket science

ya, it's pretty hard..i got mine from my local wal-mart they said it's the longest it's been there for 24 hours. I wanted to get one in december and finally got one in marchwii_fr3ak

did you or didn't you know they actually get paid for doing that, they have to be polite when working or a lawsuit can happen... although i think lawsuits suck because people can sue you for almost anything... i once heard that a burglar sued a family because the dog bit him while his breaking into a house!! and you know what's worse? the burglar won!!!
