The Wii and the Nintendo DS are VERY similar. So how come I mean think about a Nintendo DS version of Boom Blox. It would be a number one hit! Okay, so maybe I'm dreaming a little, but with the Nintendo DSI, you could have expansion packs, extras, and downloadable content for these games. So maybe it may be downgraded, and some games may not be playable for the DS, but the only game I've seen that is playable on the DS and Wii is "My Sims Racing." I mean c'mon! I want to play a SSBB on the DS! I want to play Wii sports or something like that on the DS! This a great opportunity to let people play a popular video game, on another platform! Also a DS game could be on the Wii! Think of Nintendogs on the Wii! So each game could have crossovers. Think about it! ~HyperNate
The DS is too technically limited to produce good quality versions of Boom Blox or Super Smash Bros. The 3d graphics processing power and speed just isn't there. Also, a lot of Wii games have wiimote controls that would be difficult to translate over to the DS. I think the DS is coming out with just the right kind of games at the present to suit the platform. No need for any ports from the Wii.

Naw, it can be done. I can think of thousands of ways to do it. It's just not necessary to do so. No reason to make the DS into what the PSP was claimed to be: A watered down version of it's corresponding console.
How about the DS gets it's own games and not hand me downs from other systems?

This. I don't want Wii games coming to my DS, just because someone wants to try and get me to buy the same game twice. I already have my Wii, if I want Wii games, I'll buy them for my Wii. I'd rather get different games for my DS than 2 of each game (once on my Wii, once on my DS).
i don't think its a good idea.... the reason Wii games are what they are is because its capabilities and the reason the DS games are great is because of its unique capabilities DS games are great as they are lol there are too many good games for a single life span already XD
NO. It's bad enough the DSi is a Wii for your pocket (same menus and features, wth/wtf????). But I don't want some stupid ports comin' to my DS. DS does a helluva alot better when it gets original games.
