It's been over two years since the release of Mario Party 8. The series sells like hot cakes, so I wonder why Nintendo hasn't announced Mario Party 9 yet? The series has further potential on Wii. It could utilize the Wii Motion Plus, and maybe even feature on-line play?
What do you think? :D

Yeah I'd like to see Mario Party 9 as well. I was actually hoping they would've announced it at E3 this year.
Online play is something it needs, it'd be stupid for Nintendo not to include wi-fi and really there's no reason for them not to anymore. It'd be so much more fun to be able to play with 3 other friends over wi-fi rather than have to play by yourself with 3 cpu's all the time. Unless you have at least 1-3 people you can play with, it's really not as much fun and does get boring after a while. They could even incorporate some kind of online ranking system to see who has the most stars and coins overall or something, and be able to post your records for mini-games online to see whose the best of the best. And if you don't have friends registered I'm sure they could find a way to have random games with people, so you'd join 3 other random people and play together.
I think they should also make a board editor, so you can design your own game boards to play on. Let's not forget about Wii Speak either, Mario Party 6 and 7 came with a Microphone. There's no reason why Mario Party 9 can't have voice support. Being able to talk to people while you're playing would be awesome. Maybe not during mini-games but during each players turns on the boards. And they could include even more mini-games, instead of always having around 70 why not make it an even 100?
These are things I think Mario Party 9 needs. Here's hoping it comes out next year if not this year.
