That game would make a great first Starwars release game for the Wii.  Real time combat using the Wii-mote.  RPG elements.  I would definatly rebuy it for the Wii expecially after selling my Xbox gam so long ago.  I say hey shoudl Wii-mote it!

I think it would be best if they ported a game they had already created first. Because for one it would give them the ability to test the wii-mote with the gameplay, and it is a low risk investment if it doesn't take off (which in my mind it would take off with wii mote control done right) The only thing i would ask was to add more to the overall game and tweak hear and there, but KOTOR was a great game to begin with, and it would be a great start from Bioware on the Wii. Not to mention that that can start creating some unique games form the gound up soon as they are done do to low develpment cost.

I've never played KOTOR but have really wanted too. I would love a Wii Version. I doubt it would happen anytime soon.

Agreed, i guess im just sick of ports. but bioware is a pretty consistent company. im pretty sure they could create a pretty cool, new wii game.

KOTOR is another one of my favourite games, but having played both to death on xbox and PC it would definitely need some major change as you suggest for me to buy it again. As much as real time combat would be great with the controller it would change the core values of the gameplay too much, its meant to have that kind of semi turn based strategic combat. You could always change things and consider it a form of spin-off though. If you kept all the original values intact you could play the game using just the Wiimote and it would work fine (anyone with the PC versions should know what I mean). Ultimately I'd prefer something new, similar to Mass Effect because its kinda like KOTOR but fleshed out and with real time action for the most part.

If you want Mass Effect's style it look like you are going to have to get an Xbox360 for it because the Wii isn't cut out for that level of gaming. KOTOR is a smaller game compared to it, and translating that to the Wii would be better that trying to create something on the level of Mass Effect and coming out with a broken mess of a game.

I am getting a 360 for Mass Effect :) But the Wii could definitely handle something of a similar concept if you scaled it down a lot.
