This would be so cool, you could have it 3D, and make it into a platformer with 32 unique mountains that you have to climb. You can defeat bad guys along the way with the mallet, and collect the purple eggplants for energy. It could also have co-op play because there are 2 ice climbers. Wouldnt this be awesome?!

i want one but i want it in a real action platformer. It needs to be an overall world that spans to different levels. Not necessarily 32 "stages' also not all of them have to be mountains. Coop online and offline would be cool.
The funny thing any of Nintendo's old franchises could be awsome like this but Nintendo REFUSES every single year to make them.
It is not plural... I play the NES game all the time... I would like it on wii but I would like it to stay 2D... it would make a great wiiware game.

before everyone wanted every game in 3d even the ones that shouldnt. Now everyone wants every game that has not done well 3d or has never seen 3d to stay 2d. PLease people look at each game individually not by ongoing trends. This game could be really fun 3d. If done right the exploration could be so fun.
