I think both Sony and Nintendo really need to focus on hardware prior to just setting up their huge array of rehashes of their systems.
If the price is that high, I refuse to play any more portable games and I will dump all of my games onto the street.
This is so dumb. DS, DSi, DS Lite, DS XL then now a 3DS?!
THE HECK GUYS.
Then the PSP-1000. PSP-2000. PSP-3000. PSP-Go. Now a PSP2?
These companies have too much money, they should play Monopoly to learn how to actually effectively get business :S.

Finally! Someone who agrees with me! It is dumb! If thge 3DS releases this year or early next, I am DONE with gaming. My DS Lite and I will be bery happy for many yuears to come. So long gaming companies. I've thought of quitting gaming a few times; but none is bringing me so close to doing it as this.
*wave* Bye to you and your dramatics.
Anyways, I'll be more than happy with an early release of the 3DS. As for the "learn how to get business," the DS' and all of its incarnations are the most successful gaming platform of all time. People need to look up the facts before they speak. If people went out and bought 'em, that's their problem, not Nintendo's. My most advanced DS is the Lite. Thought about getting a DSi or even an XL, but word of the 3DS isn't exactly new. As soon as I heard about it, I knew it was best to wait, and it has worked out for me. The consumer is at fault, needing the next new thing. Nintendo will gladly take your money, but if people can't control the impulses to buy, that's their deal.
I'll be buying a 3DS day one, whether it be this year, early next year, what have you. It is an excellent system with a very strong line up of games, and boasts backward compatibility. People can go off on their tirades about how it is unfair and we're being gouged, by all means, rant about it, threaten to quit gaming. Nintendo will still be raking in the cash, and many people will gladly give it to them.
