Ive been considering just getting an XL from Europe, but I have no idea how this electricity stuff works. I know that Europe uses a different voltage, so would the charger that came with the XL there work here? Or would I have to buy a separate charger, and would that work here?

Does it use the same charger as the DSi? and is the port the same in the European XL and the NA XL? or is the shape different?

thanks

I think the plug on the charger is gonna be different from the US plug. I've seen a UK plug before, it looked very different from the US plugs.

No. It's not. If you plan on importing, your best bet is buy a power converter.

You should be able to use a power converter or buy a US charger, I used a UK charger on my old japanese ds which worked fine.
