If I was Nintendo (Ambassador Program)

I was playing the gba games I got for free and I'm happy with them, but imagine how incredible it would been if they translated the top 10 Japanese Nes and Gba games and released it for us Ambassadors only. That way, everyone would have wished they bought the 3DS at 80 dollars more. I've already played and beaten FE8 years ago, but it would have been nice if they gave us the oppurtunity to play something never released in English, like FE6. Your thoughts?

I doubt people who held out would wish they had bought the system for $80 more just to get those games, but I see what you mean. It would've been nice if they had released some games that never made it outside of Japan.

Nintendo's cost for doing this would be much much higher than what they did. Plus, you would end up with a bunch of games that wouldn't appeal to nearly as wide an audience as the games they did release.

If either of you had read the OP properly you would of seen that TC said;

Therefore you would understand them as they would be in English.

It would have been nice if they did that for 1 or 2 of the games but as someone else said if it were all 10 games they wouldn't appeal to as wide an audience.

They didn't spend any money at all on the Ambassador program, y'see. They'd have to spend money to translate games. :(

Terranigma and Another World would've been great, but I like what they gave us. And it gives me a chance to see if I like WarioWare games or not since I've been on the fence about them.

Ok sorry I miss read that. Now why would Nintendo translate lets say 10 games and give them away for free and never sell them??? They wouldn't because there is absolutly no way to make money from them

But they did make money, $80 from each of us. I think they could have gotten a guy to translate them in all that time. Don't even say that it took them any effort, it was a copy/paste job.
