I dont this it would work. Even if nintendo does relese a headset games like MOHH2 Brwal and Mario kart wii will still have to use be played nornaly. dont think they can do a patchfor the game to allow voice chat, even if they could i dout they will, it will also lead back to the storage problem.

It's certainly possible, but highly unlikely.

Patches could be released just like with the 360 and PS3. Problem is that there is just so little storage space on the Wii, and it really makes me sore that Nintendo did all these things to appeal to "everyone" but not to the more hardcore or regular of game players whom would be audience of games with features on more powerful systems. Considering the amount of money Nintendo makes on selling a console itself, it would've been nice had they put that cash into some more powerful components and more storage space. If there is an update that is totally needed, it's an updated for SD cards as well as USB external drive compatibility to be part of the "amalgamated space" of the system instead of dragging data around.

I doubt they'd edit previous games, but something like Call of Duty: World at War would probably be able to use one. And i'd imagine that any USB headset would work with the Wii.

They should make a "Headset Channel", where people could go and create chatrooms to talk via headset, and then be able to play the games they want while talking through the chatroom, which would be running in the background.

They won't do this, though.

If they came out with a storage solution, yes. If not, no.
