ya, that would be soooooo kool, even if you only talk to people with DS on wifi it would be sweet! but if u could link up wid im or sumdin so u could talk to other with DS and other that have im, that would be kick@$$
Definately. But I don't think whatever kind of server thing they use to host games is big enough to basically become the next "MSN Messenger" for every DS owner in the world.
I've mainly used pictochat for writing lists of all the food my friends want, and then running up to the local taco bell and reading off the list. :P
But aye, I have no actual use for pictochat as it is, having it work with WiFi would be nice, but I'd only be able to use it on campus, since I don't have wireless internets.
i know. you have to be at most 10 meters apart and nintendo's all like "becareful with who you meet on pictochat" and i'm like, the dude's standing 6 steps away from me.....
WFC has already incorporated voice chat in one of their games. Pokemon Pearl and Diamond, scheduled for April 22nd 2007, supports voice chat while battling.
The one time I have seen Picto-Chat be useful was when all my friends were at different ends of a bus and they would decide what games to play over pictochat. Then they would play them. It was a pretty okay system.

yes, it does, but its not better. and pictochat should have been wifi, whats the point of having 4 chatrooms with 16 ppl (64 people) all within 15 feet of each other?
i'd definately use it. sometimes it's fun to picto chat with ur girlfriend lol. it would be really cool if we didn't have to be near each other to use the picto chat feature.
