..Scores AAA and gets a huge advertising campaign, how much do you think it will sell?
I'd say it could sell 1.5 million.

actually, it probably wont sell very much even if it does get a good score. the only publicity its gotten is on gaming sites and magazines so not many people know about it. and its target audience doesnt have many people on the wii, most who would be interested have another system which is crawling with fps gamesSword-DemonIt apparently has over a million target people, Red Steel sold over that. You didn't read the OP anyways.

I don't see what Wii Motion + could do for a first person shooter. In fact, I don't see what Wii Motion + can do for any game that doesn't have swords.
Back on topic; it's a well produced game that will have decent online which happens to be published by a monster like Sega. It can sell 2 million copies easily.

they said it wont be a huge focus, just to improve melee and aiming and little other things, i think they said you dont even have to use it?

Motion + can't improve aiming, it's impossible
I think if it's well made (which is still very much is question when you consider who is doing it) then it could sell a million over the Wi's lifespan
Motion + can't improve aiming, it's impossible

Yes it can. Motion+ detects where you are in the room in real-time, so maybe if you move the Wiimote to the right, the gun on-screen will also move to the right, giving you an advantage (shooting behind cover, for instance). You could also tilt the Wiimote on its side, and it'll give you different angles to shoot with.
A well-executed shooter will sell more on a platform starved for shooters than it will on a platform swamped in them, no matter how mediocre or derivative it is.
I'm buying it, and I don't care about the score.
as far as listening to reviewers i dont know anymore quantum of solace was pretty good on wii and it got like 5 or 6 and i think it should have got a 7 atleast and COD:WAW got an 80 on ign and COD3 got a 79 i believe and COD:3 sucked compared to WAW so I dont care wehat it gets im buying it when it comes out

I'm hoping it does well commercially and critically. That way 3rd party devs would treat the Wii like a good console.Lunar52Yup. And don't forget that HV will get more money from licensing their engine, which I believe they intend to do. The Conduit will be a great advertisement for it. That way, all the hard technical work will have already been done for other devs and they can make great-looking games with only just a little more effort.

They made a great engine and threw a bunch of different games onto it.

But at least a new standard will be set for the Wii. Think of how good the engine in Super Mario 64, Ocarina, etc. was and how many good games had a similar structure.
