If you aren't picking up Star Fox 64 3D what are you getting in its place?

As the topic says. If you aren't picking up Star Fox 64 3D for whatever reason you have (no online, just a remake, etc) do you plan on picking something else up in its place? Anything else for the 3DS or DS old or new? Another system perhaps? Or simply not buying anything and just saving your money for something else you deem more worthwhile?

I've toyed with the idea of buying a DS game in it's place. There are plenty out there that are worth buying. If I can find a copy of Infinite Space that would be nice. I would like to finally buy Radiant Historia as well so I might order that. I keep toying with the idea of Samurai Warriors Chronicles as well but never really sure if I'd be turned off do to it being a launch title this far removed from the 3DS launch.

Yeah I'm holding off on buying Star Fox 64 3D as it's a remake. I liked the original but I'm not into it enough to pay $40 for yet another copy. I was thinking about getting a retail DS game and ended up downloading Shantae from the eShop as it's supposedly pretty long for a DSi game. My wife will be getting Bit.Trip Saga for the 3DS next week so I can always steal her game to hold me over until more games are out.

I'm not getting because theres way too much in october and november. And NHL 12 comes out 4 days later

I'll probably pick up star fox eventually, I have never played it before, so it interests me.

But, with the New Kirby DS game and my Wife's birthday in September, it will have to wait.

I want it, but at the same time there are a few PC games out around the same time :(

I'll make my mind up thursday night.

I have it in my cart over at amazon, but I still haven't ordered. However, I'll probably be suckered in today as it is just such a fantastic game in every respect. The visuals, music, THE VOICE OVERS, etc. I don't like that I'll be spending 40 dollars for it, but it isn't a bank buster so go figure. There's nothing to pick up instead, imo.

Yes I will save my money for new games instead of old remakes that I would only play once and then never touch again.

I'm saving up for Zelda Skyward Sword.

yea im very interested..and im buying.

with snes version the dpad controlled wonderfully... when it came out on n64 i felt the analog stick was too sensitive..

i want star fox 3d because A: i want to see how the circle pad handles..and B..check out the 3D...

I loved the origninal 64 version, but for some reason I'm not moved to buy this one...

Im getting it (never played it on N64) ..if I wasn't, I wouldn't be getting anything in its place.

I already have this on the N64 and Virtual Console Wii, so probably going to pass on this until it becomes much cheaper later. The $40 price tag may be justified for newcommers who never played it, but not for me. Might get it when it becomes much cheaper though. Won't buy anything else until SM3DL and MK7 because I still have a pretty huge backlog to finish on other systems and there is nothing else that interests me.

Bleeeeh I got the N64 version a few months ago from a local retailer for a buy 2 used games, get 1 free deal (got SF64 for free), but never really got around to playing it besides the multiplayer. (Only touched the single player once, but I was very drunk soI really don't remember jack :P) I'm very tempted to buy this because of the beefed up features and because I've never really playedthe originalextensively, but in all good concious Idk if I can buy this knowing I have almost the same game, untouched, lying in my basement...It would have been a day 1 purchase if it had Wifi, but now I'm on the fence.Advice please!!!

Also, to the person who mentioned BitTrip, what's all the hoopla about? I remember playing as the character in Super Meat Boy, but I've never played a main game. Are they worth checking out?
