Although this could be several things, the one constant I have always had with the entire series is the fact that it seems like you get the coolest item(s) towards the end of the game, but since it's so late you don't get to really enjoy having it.

     If I could change Zelda, I would go and give Zelda an adventure of epic proportions.  Or better yet, show more of her side of the story, like how Paper Mario tosses things out about what Luigi's been up to.  That way the reader can truly enjoy action and cinema in one game without the classic "What do you expect from a woman in a crystal to be doing" standpoint.

I wish the items you get earlier, would be still useful later. Besides the bow and arrows and bombs, are the ones used through out, but the others.. RARELY. Also, I want to change the boss battles, far too easy.

Would anyone object to a new story format?  We touched this topic a few days ago.  I love Ganon/Ganondorf, but doesn't he seem a bit played.  I'm getting a little too familiar with Hyrule.  I feel like I could close my eyes, move Link in one direction and know exactly what I needed to do.  Heck, aren't the order of the temples similar?  At least with the 'backwards' map in TP, I couldn't play with my eyes closed. :)

How about this, a 3d version of the fight with Gyorg, the two flying Manta Rays from Minish Cap, Link had to leap from one to the other to attack whatever weak point was available.  But as you clung to one of them the other would shoot at you.....

i think my dream come true, would be a more rpg style, although thats pretty much like changing the zelda format, i would like to see items that i can upgrade, maybe i need the master sword, but im tired of these bows, its just a toothpick with tied from end to end. if thats not a usable answer my next suggestion is that they make sense. if icould change one thing, id make the series have an easily definable chronological order, but make it more fitting, i wouldnt say, o this game came 100 years after this one, but this one is taking place on some place 300 years away, or ya know, whatever **** i would start and end a game, so it all made sense

Interesting battle sequence sounds challenging.  I've always wondered why we don't have a boss that swallows us at the start and we have to find a way out in a certain amount of time, using a variety of tools for the escape.  Kind of like the swimming before the suit, once out, then we would have to fight the head of the beast or something.

In fact, I thought it was much harder fighting multiple darknuts at the end of a long sequence as in the Cave of Ordeals, than any boss; even Ganondorf at the end.  The multiple attacks are tough.

Hmmm. Brand new story. harder game, maybe a hard setting. Not sure about that though. More diverse items, and Item combos. Different playable characters. Yeah, bad bad bad, but still. I think link should get trapped at some point after finding zelda and zelda needs to do a puzzle/dungeon with only an arrow and knife and set him free, thus getting herself trapped again and so on, but keep it twisty ;) maybe even a tingle part ;) Voice acting, but also text for those parts taht actually make sense for reading, signs, papers whatever. maybe action command cutscenes, (i think i'm playing RE4 too much ;)) Not sure waht else.. better bosses and a better ending ;) btw i haven't played TP so i dont know if any of these have been addressed but yeah..

id wanna actually play as zelda. use attacks like in SSBM. (u know......fireballs, magic stuff, her sword, ect). and id like a difficulty setting too, easy setting for non gamers who started with wii, hardcore setting to hardcore gamers.

Jumping and dodging from all angles...I'd object to that. Basically everything that can go wrong in 3D.

Nintendo should stick to one kind of Link, and stop creating all these reincarnations (Wind Waker where Link has a sister and grandma, Twilight Princess where Link is a farm boy).  Ocarina of Time did a great job as a prequel to the NES and SNES games, and Nintendo needs to stick to that timeline.

Nintendo should stick to one kind of Link, and stop creating all these reincarnations (Wind Waker where Link has a sister and grandma, Twilight Princess where Link is a farm boy). Ocarina of Time did a great job as a prequel to the NES and SNES games, and Nintendo needs to stick to that timeline.

Difficulty.  I want the Zelda games to be challenging, and the last couple have been absolute cake walks.  When I pay my hard earned dollar for a game, I expect it to be fun and challenging.  Zelda TP was fun, but seriously lacked in the difficulty department which made me lose interest in the game before I ever came close to finishing it.

many would slay me for this remark, but hearing Link's voice, or even his speech in word bubbles, would be a dream come true. I love Link, and I really want to hear what he has to say, not just assume he's saying something.

Hmmmm.... 1 thing that I could change in the Zelda series is to bring an even darker story than what Twilight Princess was. Some tragedy occuring in the story, maybe death of some characters, something that will make ur jaw go wide open and be like, 'ooooooh ISH! Thats crazy!'

(first of all theres voice acting on everyone except link) ok this would be maybe in the middle of the game or so theres this girl link likes and she like him but they dont know it her dad is the mayor of the village there in and has played very important parts in the game so  far the village is attacked by some sort of creppy monsters it raining thundering the dad gets killed everythink gets slow link it knocked on the floor watching the girl running over to her dad screaming then all the village guards come out fighting and yelling link gets up has to help out the soliders fight back these monsters the village gets overrun all the soliders and villagers slaughtered the girl and you kidnapped then you wake up locked up in a cell somewhere and you have to escape and find the girl

Orchestrated music, harder bosses, and a more intriguing story. In TP I never felt a sense of tension and urgency that would befit an epic game like Zelda. It was more like go here get this item, go there get this item, end of game. I also think that you should be able to interact with every NPC. Make the worlds more lively. Have NPCs walking across Hyrule Field, have more villages to visit with a lot of people. Castle Town had a lot of people but it seemed like they were there for the sake of being there. There was a severe lack of towns as well.

I also would find it interesting if Link was made into a mute character. Sure he doesn't talk but it has never been implied that he is mute, because if he was you wouldn't hear the battle cries he makes. If Link was mute it could make for some interesting plot scenarios.

QFT they should just stop complaining. First they complained about Majora and said it was so bad, then WindWaker came out and they said taht was bad and talked about how good Majora was, now Twilight Princess has came out and well you can guess it.

I would definitely increase the challenge of Zelda games.  The bosses need to be more difficult, for sure.  A lot of them are pushovers in the more recent games...for example, I was just beating the 6th dungeon in TP again last night (not gonna mention names of enemies or places to avoid spoilers), and the boss was just such a joke.  I like bosses to be really difficult, and really push the skill of the player to beat them, so I hope they make bosses harder in the future.

Also, I find that a lot of the enemies or traps don't do enough damage, which would be a simple way to increase difficulty.  An example of this one is, once again, in the 6th dungeon of TP.  There are these rolling spike traps and giant swinging blades, and you expect them to do a crapload of damage because a) they're huge traps, and b) cause they're pretty easy to dodge.  Instead they each only deal a quarter-heart worth of damage, when they should be dealing way more (maybe 2 hearts or something).

Just overall increased difficulty would be a great change, I think.  One last thing is that in TP, some items that had a lot of potential weren't used enough outside of the dungeons you got them in (Spinner, for example).  It'd be cool to make items more integrated into the world by having you use them more often, although normally it's not too much of a problem.

I wouldn't really change anything. Just like how the Wii doesn't need good graphics to succeed, I don't think Zelda needs uber sharp graphics, fancy orchestrated music or voice acting. It's fine just the way it is. If you still need convincing, just at how the voice acting in Mario Sunshine turned out! :?

1) get rid of the stupid "find a way to damage the boss and do it twice more" I HATE that... it ruins the awesomeness of the boss and I don't get to hear the awesome boss music. The music thing goes for Mario games as well 2) Put a Boss Run mode like Sakurai does in his games. Sometimes I want to beat a boss again, but nope, I'd have to start the adventure over and I know I won't do that with TP. 3) Less useless weapons, like the spinner ans slingshot 4) Change the puzzles. If I didn't know any better, I'd shoot all the people that hate me in their eyes with my arrows, it's probably their weak point. I'd also shoot arrows in my optometrists office because there's bound to be a puzzle to solve. also... "Oh look, three blocks in a room. How will I move them to solve the puzzle?" That's more than one, but those are the things I'd like changed
