You know, I always find this funny about the Wii - its games seem to either have no blood or gore whatsoever, or ridiculous amounts of blood and gore, far above what's seen on the other consoles. :P

Anyway, yeah, I'm totally getting this game.

Hmm... honestly, after watching that video, I don't know what to say. That was actually the longest time I had ever paid attention to Madworld in one sitting. I'm not sure what was being doubted prior to this video being shown, but I do know one thing. I was actually expecting a bit more substance to the game; what I just saw didn't exactly look that compelling to me gameplay-wise. Just a lot of gore mixed in with some uncalled for foul commentary, if you ask me. I expected more from the creators of Viewtiful Joe. :|

By the way, I've been seeing commercials for HotD:OK and they def give a shot out to MW at the end. Good job SEGA, a publisher that finally is doing their job!!!!

The video made Madworld look like a poor man's Ninja Gaidan, with terrible...terrible music. I hope the controls are decent though and not just another frusterating waggle-fest.

it actually looks way better then NG2, that game was pure garbage. the camera sucked big time

I watched the video again, it's doing nothing for me, it looks boring.

But then I watched a video here on Gamespot and it looked awesome!

Thank god. The whole time I was thinking he sounded like Violent J from Insane Clown Posse. That'd be an instant boycott in my book.

Anyway, the trailer was pretty cool, aside from the obnoxious asian stereotyping that I really, really thought we as a society would be past by now. Whatever, the executions were cool, especially when Jack impaled three guys at once. I just hope the waggle controls are more responsive than Deadly Creatures'. Regardless, this is looking like a AA title at the most. Great, but nothing earth-shattering.

The black and white really turned out great, although it is hard to make out what's happening sometimes. Other than that, all I see is vulgarity for the sake of vulgarity. Not my kind of entertainment.

Wow this game looks awesome!!! The finishing move with the spear was amazing!!!

You often get a bunch of minions to plow through before getting to the harder characters (which it looks like you do at the end of the video) in games, right? I think the attraction is just that: you can kill the guys in different ways, very... creatively.clicketyclick

Perhaps you're right about that, but after playing games like Ninja Gaiden 1&2 for the Xbox and Xbox360 respectively (and beating the first game on Master Ninja mode at that), the video made this game look like child's play compared to those games. Then again, I'm one of those people that doesn't mind a game beating me a bit before I manage to beat it. :P Not to mention that the actual flow of the combat just didn't seem to be all that enticing to me. There's nothing wrong with with going around killing things if you're into that, I guess. It's just after seeing the other games Platinum Games (under Clover, obviously) have done and looking at other action games in general of late, I would have liked it if I saw just a bit more gameplay depth under the unique style. Just my opinion, though. :P
