IGN rating for punch out

IGN gives Punch-out a 8.8, makes me want the game now.

Anywhere from a 8.5 to a 8.9 is what I expected for Punch-Out!!

I always thought that the animations were fantastic, and that the gameplay would turn out fine. Still, I gotta say Punch-Out!! has really surprised me so far.

It has scored well everywhere else. Looks like a 7.5 is set in stone.

Punch-Out is not really a sports game. Sure, it's boxing but it's more puzzle than sports.
