IGN reviews spiderman 3 wii

5.7. some people were bashing me for my little "review" a few threads down. but when i said MS paint, i wasnt kidding.

as i said, the controls rocked, but these devs are some of the worst in activision, they managed to get both the ps2 and wii version looking worse than spiderman 2 on ps2 and gc respectively.

Oh good lord! That looks terrible. I don't think anyone was expecting this to be good though.

That's strange. I've been playing it all day and my copy doesn't look anything like that awful picture.  :?

That's not surprising...its a game based on a movie, after all.

Alright....*sniff*....it's not that bad. For those of you who have played it, is it worth it? Is it still fun to do amazing web slinging tricks for no reason? Is there plenty of fighting, and is the combat system enjoyable?

....Wait a minute, I could just go read the player reviews.....Sorry 'bout that. 

What ut amazes me its that thePS3 version got 6.5 just a little over the wii's... maybe this is the real answer of the graphics vs fun gameplay

I didn't bash you :D. :P. Well anyway this stinks for Spiderman. Oh well at least Spiderman 2 is ok. But I think they should make another spiderman not relating to the movies and actually have time to work with it. Not some rushed movie licensed game.

Actually their review isn't anything like what you said, your review was more like the trolling we see here each day while the IGN people actually broke it down.

As far as what the game looks like this is the problem, many people (including you) don't understand that the Wii needs to be specially coded for so of course the game is going to be lacking there. Just like the article I post in all the third party threads right now the devs don't have the ability to code for the Wii AND get the games out in time, that will change in the course of the year but for now it wont happen.

It actually got a 6.0, only .3 higher.  And most likely the controllers, even though non innovative, were better suited than the wii ones.

Maybe you could do a review of it when you're finished? Or at least some in depth impressions?
