I have a grey Phat DS from 2004, and was thinking of upgrading it to a DS Lite last year. But then the news of DSi came, and I desided to wait. For me, DSi will be a great upgrade and worth every penny (or Norwegian Krones as I have to pay).

My DS Lite is still going strong, has great battery life too. I'll eventually upgrade to the DSi, but right now I'm perfectly happy with my DS Lite atm.Bigboi500

I find this statement kind of amusing; I'd take an original DS over a DS Lite or DS Lite because the grip is better.Sure,the DS Lite screen is a Godsend,but when my favorite DS games (Elite Beat Agents and Ouendan 2,being both touch-screen based) are uncomfortable and borderline unplayable at times,it isn't worth it.In a perfect world,someone will create a DS with the same size as the original DS and the slick screen of the Lite.

I will must likely upgrade. I have a DS Lite, but I'm going to sell it.

I just hate how the buttons feel. like when i press them, they dont feel like they register?(hard to explain)

I don't want to go back to the old DS and I already have a GBASP, so no backwards isn't a problem.

Plus, I think the White DSi looks like one of the classiest handhelds ever.

What's wrong with the DS Phat, I like my DS Phat! Although I will be buying the DSi, mainly because of the stylus scratches (DANG YOU PHANTOM HOURGLASS AND GUITAR HERO: ON TOUR!!!) on my DS Phat.
