Im getting a wii in a week....

and i was wondering what games i should get (JUST KIDDING!!!!)

lol what i really wanted to know is what is a good controller charger.

I'm really looking at the nyko 2 controller charge station if thats a good one

and whats the status on those 4 wiimote charger stations nintendo was showing off at E3 a few years ago... (back when it was the revolution)

also what games do i REALLY need the zapper for... because i want to get umbrella chronicles but i don't want a zapper just yet...

You don't need the zapper for any games.

I don't know much about chargers. I have rechargeable batteries, though, which work great.

Do not use any of the Wiimote Charger packs. Just buy some rechargeable Energizer AAs along with a charger. Paid $20 for the charger which came with some batteries. That was a year ago and it's still going.

No game really needs the Wii Zapper since it's just a plastic shell to mount your Wiimote in. But the House of the Dead does use it rather well along with Ghost Squad and Umbrella Chronicles.

As others have said, rechargeable batteries work just fine. Never seen the need for a charger station.

The Zapper is pretty ridiculous, actually. Just an unwieldy plastic shell that makes the gameplay experience less enjoyable in most cases. That said, Umbrella Chronicles a great game and you should definitiely get it - just play with the regular wiimote though.

Don't buy that nyko thing, I got a USB rechargable battery pack that fits on the back on the wiimote for $10 plus it gas a soft grip thing.

The nyko charge station is great. I really do love it.

The zapper is a piece of junk. Pass on it.
