wuld this mean that SSBB will be released later than the end of august?SmartOne5792SSBB's release date has nothing to do with Metroid's. I doubt that it will get released before September though.
but but but...its another week....
And its probably got to do with the release dates of other games. Between Halo3, Call of Duty 4, SSBB, SMG, BWii, Manhunt 2, MP3, Soul Caliber Legends, (possibly Nights) and several other big name games, Nintendo is probably trying to make sure that they arent all lost in the shuffle

With all the hype around Metroid I dont think Nintendo has anything to fear from that, to the TC I can understand reason 1, but you should be able to understand to play games when you have time, and no other time
I am really mad about this delay. It's not because I'm an impatient bastard, it's because I go back to school on that very day! I was looking forward to playing M3 at least 5 or 6 hours a day before school started. But now, I'm not going to be able to play it all out because of homework and whatnot. Grrr.JMart0492
I don't mind......I thought it was going to be released September 20th for some reason.
So even with the delay it's still coming out earlier than I expected.
You people need to learn to stop crying. I think all of us here waiting are friggin lucky since when other games get delayed do you know what the average delay time is? 2-4 months.
So learn to stop crying and be happy. Also I agree with first post it gives us more time on games we still need to beat. Right now I have been working on a massive game stack of about 17 titles that are unbeaten and MP2 is one of them. Sure its great news for us that don't do school or already finished it. But for the kids that start school as its release can be aloud to complain a bit but not to much. Sure it may have been a awesome way to finish summer.
But look on the bright side for those still doing school of some sort. At least its not being launched around exam times where your parents force you to study and not play as many games.
Actually it sucks for me.
I will be going back to China probably on that day (or very near it) and that means its doubtful that I'll get my hands on it in time simply because the 27th is the "shipped date" and it won't arrive for at least another day, which at best, would require me to scramble around town looking for it just before I got the airport.
Not cool.
