Do you think there will be shortages by then, or will I be able to get one easily?

Oh, and what games should I get with it? I'm thinking about maybe 5 to 8 games to hold me off until next year...

Thanks for all help!

Well... Down in Brazil, we didn't have shortage at all. BTW, the wii over here is about 1000 dolars.

I wouldn't count on it being easy to find even in July. I just got mine in Jan. and was lucky to get it then.

I think it's weird if you can't find a freaking Wii in July. I also think July is a very good time to get a Wii. We should see some more great games by then.. And to answer the second question: Yes, it's very easy to connect the Wii to the Internet. I suggest getting a wireless router, unless you've already got one.

I'm Brazilian, but I'm going to buy my wii in the US, forgot to mention that. :P

Here in Brazil, like you said, is too expensive :?

What about the games, I don't see the wii lineup so often, what good games is there for it?

I was thinking of Zelda, Super paper mario, Mario galaxy, Wario Ware, but I don't know much more of games that are coming until july, could you give me some pointers?

If it's done correctly, Nights: Journeys in dreams (a.k.a. Nights into Dreams 2) will be a must. It's been 10 years of waiting for any Sega fans to have a sequel to this addictive game. And with the Forecast channel compatible, I think it's going to be more addictive than the original.

Also, take a look on Treasure Island Z, Oopana and Dewy's Adventure. I think these games will be underrated by many people here.

Most of these games are for Q3-Q4 releases so after July.

Wait until the new E3 in July for more details.
