Hello.

My Wii won't eject a gamecube game that is in it. Do you know if there is a manual eject button that I can press to get it out? Everytime I turn it on and press "eject," the Wii console shuts down completely.

Do you have any advice?

Sucks. You might want to email Nintendo. They have outstanding customer service.

Try pushing eject BEFORE you turn the Wii on. Also, maybe it's because the put the disc in the wrong way, but I don't think that's it.

Make sure you're pressing the eject button, and not the Start or Restart buttons. Eject button is the one by itself at the bottom of the wii if it's standing upright. Now, if you ARE indeed pressing the right button, call Nintendo. From what I hear from ppl on this site they have amazing customer service.

If I press it before I turn it on, nothing happens. If I press it after I turn it on, the system shuts off and will not turn back on until I unplug and replug it.

Yeah, I'm pressing the right button. Unless the eject button is not the button with "eject" written beside of it.

You gotta put the Gamecube disc in towards the top of the slot and so that the shiny side is facing the mem card slot.

You could try to press eject when the system is off, or you could E-mail Nintendo.

Unplug your gamecube controllers, unplug your mains socket, from the mains and from the Wii. Wait 5 minutes, plug the power cable into the Wii, plug the mains in. Switch on Wii, press Eject. If that doesn't work, then call Nintendo.

Does the Wii have an option for you to eject the disk with the controller?
