Im moments away from orderinf a wii of amazon but I got some questions...

Basically I heard you need wireless to play online... is this true because my cousion doesnt have wireless all shes got is a standard motarola dsl modem and she can use it to get online! all she did was wenter some code on her modem onto the menu of the wii connection screen thing...

You can get an adapter. You plug the adapter into one of the USB ports on the back of the Wii and then you plug the ethernet cable into the adapter.

Okay thanx for the info, Im not going to buy a Wii then, Ive already wasted money trying to get my xbox online!

the thing is though, the wii isn't the type of system you buy just for the online. The system is really good for local play and a variety of different games, while the 360 is good for online games and shooters.

agreed with him but the wii has many good once u go through that pile of trash

not to mention the games that are completely focused on local multiplayer, to the point of not even having online (which some people apparently consider a heresy >_>)
