man the ds lite really has hardware issues, im on my forth lite because the stupid hinges keo cracking, and then breaking, and then the top half of the ds falls off. i buy a extra warenty from eb everytime, and i dont throw it around and stuff, whenever i dont use it, it is always in its metal case or charging. imk just mad
i have had 3... the one i have now is perfect, it was the fricken directional pad that was so messed up with the three i have had..i dont understand why they didnt just make the d-pad like the original DS.
Either dead pixels or cracks. It is kinda funny when the Nintendo Reps pull up my record for the walk-in service. Also my Toys R Us receipt has so many scribbles that it is hard to make out what I originally bought...
this one is my 3rd, the first one had a dead pixel, me second had a cracked hinged and with this one i dont find any flaws...well the L button requiers a bit more force for it to work but i can get used to it ^^
Im on my first one I have no problems with my DS but if it did brake one good thing would happen I would have a DSlite right now instead of the original.
I'm still on my first, and the only problem with it is the finger prints and some scuffed up corners from all the time's I've dropped it/thrown it at the wall after coming .004 seconds behind the staff ghost in MKDS.
I have two DS lites. My white one was bought on day one with a cracked hinge, it's never gotten any worse and beyond that it's perfect. My Black one was bought on launch day for the onyx ones and it perfect. Between the two they get about 3 to 4 hours of play everyday and neither have problems at all.Â
I'm on my second one. My first DS lite which I bought at launch had a stuck pixel, a yellow tinted touch screen and a huge crack on the left hinge. I sent it to nintendo and they sent me what looked like a perfect ds lite, but just a few days ago I found out that a crack is starting to form on the left hinge. I am staring to believe that the DS lite is such a big seller because of all of the replacements people have to buy. I think that if my DS breaks completely I might have to switch to PSP.
I got mine on launch day and I take it everywhere with me. I don't know what you guys keep doing yo your DS Lites, but mine is in great shape.SmashBrosLegend

That's what I was thinking. I agree with the guys who say they've had the same DS forever...my little nephew is 6 now, and he's had his DS almost a year...you either are throwing your ds into a wall or are paid by sony. #1 thing to remember that the sony psp is breakable on touch, and i mean that. nintendo ds rocks your pants off and you should NOT throw your ds against walls anymore.

You buy an extended warranty each time you get an exchange?
That doesnt ring true as the warranty would also cover any replacements they give you under the original warranty.
You also traded your DS and 8 games in December and this is your first post here since then.
