I mean I use Gamespot and various other sites for gaming info. I was just wonderin should I even keep it on my Wii :|.
Also to the people who also have it how often do you use it?

[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]I guess I should try that... Ya, it is pretty useful. I really liked the Ninjatown demo. Now if only I could find a store that sells that game... And as Serbine said, it's also good for seeing how long a game will last you (since it shows the average play-time of the people who responded) and what other games they played so you can get further recommendations. One thing I don't get is why, when you fill out your recommendation information for a game you score it, but there's no way to see the aggregate score of the game. What is that information used for?DS dowload station

DS dowload station
To see how games will look on my TV
To watch the one, the only, REV RUN play Wii Music
That explains it well. And let's not forget to reccomend games in there too. This thread was so pointless because you can just delete the channel and if you end up deciding you want to use it, you can download it again...absolutely free. And that is your opinion that you are stating as fact and I hate when people push their opinion to be like fact. Also, nobody forced you to download the channel, did they?

The DS Download Service is the best feature of the Nintendo Channel for me. If it weren't for that, I'd probably get rid of it. But since I have it, I do occasionally look through the list of new games to watch some videos. It's convenient.

My guess is that it's used for the "people who liked this game also liked..." category. If you rate a game highly, it'll be added to that statistic. If you rate it on the low end, it won't. It would be nice to see the average rating that people have given a game, though I'm guessing Nintendo doesn't show that so that games with low ratings don't lose potential buyers because of it.

Oh ya, that does make a whole lot of sense. I never really thought about how they did the "people who liked this also liked" feature. I just figured it was like iTunes, which I always assumed is based on title ownership correlation. i.e. what counts as what people who liked Game X also liked = the top 3 games that people who owned Game X also owned.
I can see though why they wouldn't display the average rating. However, it might encourage 3rd parties to make better games... :DÂ
